Great-Grandfather's unique 1890's  Victorian Farmhouse has been lovingly remodeled to blend relics from the attic with original art.  


We welcome B&B guests eager for outdoor adventures or a rejuvenating retreat, and can accommodate small groups for REUNIONS or WORKSHOPS with a parlor, kitchen privileges, guest refrigerator and the support of your friendly hosts. 

 


Paradox Lake - A 5-minute walk

You will have access to our members only Private Beach on the pristine and quiet Paradox Lake. Lifeguard during summers. Bring your own small watercraft or use our canoe. Boat, fish, swim or read. Perfect for the whole family,

Schroon Lake - A 5 minute drive

In the quaint Village of Schroon Lake which offers all your needs and more; a Marina for rentals, this fabulous public  beach and adjacent park, dinning, retail, Norman Rockwell style seasonal holidays, Square Dances on Wednesdays, Festivals and wonderful people!

Policies

  • All Rates include a breakfast served 7:30 to 9:30 am. Individual times and preferences accommodated.
  • CHECK IN: After 2:00 pm (Please prearrange arrivals before 2:pm or after 8:00 pm).
  • CHECK OUT: 12 pm ( negotiable).
  • Two night minimum stay may be required during high season or holiday weekends.
  • Pets considered on individual basis. 
  • For the health, safety and comfort of all of our guests, we offer a completely smoke free environment, including the porch.

Deposits & Cancellations

  • To guarantee your reservations we accept 20% deposit.
  • Sorry, we are unable to accept credit cards.
  • Your deposit will be refunded or applied to a new date, if your cancellation is received at least 10 days prior to the expected arrival date. If your cancellation is received with less than 10 days notice, and we are able to fill your room, we will return your deposit in full.
  • Room rates are based on double occupancy and does not include tax.
  • DISCOUNTS FOR STAYS OF 4 DAYS OR MORE.

LOCATION:

We are located just off the New York I-87 Northway, between Albany and Montreal.

It is absolutely impossible to find easier directions to anywhere. So, here goes…


DIRECTIONS:

Coming North or South on I-87 in the Adirondack Park, take Exit 28 and head East towards Ticonderoga (this is Route 74).

We are the first house on the left, 1 mile from the I-87.  You can't miss it!
